Doris' Pecan Pie Recipe

Peggy entered our Blue Ribbon Good Recipe Contest. Her pecan pie recipe was selected as one of our Finalists. Peggy gets an autographed by Mother May of Priester's Dining on the Victorian Verandah Cookbook.
Makes 2 pecan pies (without using Corn Syrup)
- 1 stick melted margarine
- 1 box light brown sugar
- Splash of milk to moisten (1 Tablespoon approximately)
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Dash of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 slightly beaten eggs, add to the sugar mixture
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups Priester's pecans pieces
Stir together until no lumps
Mix with sugar mixture until well blended
Don't overmix but stir until well blended
